Flu Vaccinations – BOOTS THE CHEMIST & Haytor View working together This year, children in Reception, Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 are being offered flu vaccinations, therefore we have been working together with Boots to enable them to manage this in a straightforward way (the vaccination being provided is a nasal spray). Plans are in place to provide the opportunity for children to receive the vaccinations on the school site during school hours, on Wednesday 8th November. This term the year 3’s and 4’s have been working collaboratively on their foundation learning ‘Prehistoric World’. We are enjoying learning with each other exploring the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.
I’m just popping up a quick note to say the year has started amazingly well for the year 2s. We are all keen, eager and excited to be back together and ready for learning. In the first few weeks, we are really focusing on our R-Time skills of showing we respect and value each other by listening to each when one person at a time speaks. We are also working on our letter formation to get that smooth, flowing cursive hand writing and fully embedding our understanding of two digit numbers.
