The Year 1s have had an amazing day at Dinosaur World Toquay today. We have taken risks, made discoveries and had loads of fun!
The children have loved discovering fossils, finding out what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur and being brave putting their heads into the mouth of a T-rex. But, above all, the class decided that touching the dinosaur poo was their favourite part… Yuck!
We have learnt so much and enjoyed a rich experience discovering new facts and finding out about how some of the things they thought they knew are not true. We now know that we are taller than a Velociraptor, Pteradactyls are not real dinosaurs and that there were creatures that roamed the Earth before the dinosaurs. Wow!
