Learning together ~ enjoying success ~ aiming high ~ celebrating difference ~ enriching community

As part of the children’s learning around the commemorations of the Centenary of the ending of World War 1, we have been incredibly privileged and fortunate to be able to ask questions to a real soldier and find out first hand what a soldier’s life is like.

This gave the children (and parents who join us for our assemblies ) a chance to really think about why we lay poppies in November and to say a big ‘Thank You’ for the sacrifices soldiers, sailors and airmen, have made, and continue to make, to keep us all safe.
