Hello everyone!
It’s Friday! Today is the day when you can negotiate the chores you will do around the house for the next week and it’s also jokes day so here goes…
What do you get if you cross a kangaroo with an elephant?
Great big holes all over Australia.
(tumblweed)
Any way, I hope your inventing week has been fun. Today you can focus on your evaluation. What did you do? What went well? What were you pleased about? What were you proud about doing?
What was not so great? What would you liked your machine to be like that it is not? If you were to do a project like this again, what would you do differently. I’ve made a sheet you could use to help you think here. evaluation
Next week, we are going to be looking at the food we eat and what it does for us. We can learn about what we need to put into our bodies to make them work the best they can and what sort of foods will give us these things. Hopefully, you will be able to work alongside whoever cooks the meals in your house to plan, create, prepare and serve a tasty meal for everyone. Who knows, this might start a new Masterchef on their road to success!
Any sort of reading is the most important thing to be doing at home during this time. Books and stories allow your thoughts to get you out of your room and go anywhere across all of time and space. If you don’t have that many books to read, there is always your Bug Club book if you need one. If there is something you would specifically like to read about, or a special type of story you want to read, let me know and I will try and find a book like that for you on Bug Club.
It is great to see your answers and responses on BugClub every day. Keep reading. If you finish a book, I will see this and respond. Check you are completing the activities correctly, in your book and on the Grammar, Spelling and punctuation games, so that I know that you need a new book or game. If you don’t finish everything properly, the website does not show me you need a new activity, so please make sure you are doing everything fully.
Take care everyone. Stay safe and happy.
Mr F.
