Hi year 4,
It is great to see so many of you engaging in these activities. Keep them coming in!
Below are today’s activities:
Maths – Number Bonds
Our next maths learning journey is Additive Reasoning. If you look at our learning journey map, you will see we are starting with number bonds. I do not tend to spend that long on this but it is important you know these as it will help you with your mental calculations.
History and Writing – Romans
I have given you a new question to research.
Spelling – Statutory List and High Frequency Words
Please continue to practise these over the week.
Grammar – Imperative Verbs and Connecting Clauses
On Bug Club, you will see I have allocated you two task; Imperative Verbs and Connecting Clauses. For some of you, you will only see Imperative Verbs. I would like you to watch the video and make your way through the tasks (I don’t expect these to be completed in one day).
As you are familiarising yourself with Imperative Verbs, think about instructional writing. Did you see any of these verbs on your instructions?
In your last write, you started to look at Connecting Clauses with Mrs Russell. I would like you to consolidate your learning.
Jo Wicks is making an appearance today. We will be doing this in class (I ached on Monday).
Rainbow Making – Have a go at this; make sure to send in your pictures.
Remember today, on Google Classroom, we will be having our class video chat at 9:30am. The link will be on our Stream Page. We will also have our class daily story at 2:15pm.
Looking forward to seeing you later.
