Good morning all

I really enjoyed the fact that today has been cooler and a little bit rainy! We hope that you are all having a good time at home !

Another group of children joined us in school toady and we had a lovely time seeing each other and playing safely in and outside! I feel so proud how proud the children have all managed the new way we are working superbly! We even found some snails in the rain and Alfie and Lucas  were excited as the snail climbed up their arms! Here are some photos from today.

Today we enjoyed finding snails that came out in the rain at the end of the afternoon and I would like to remind you of the mini beast hunt sheet. Click on the blue writing to see the mini beast hunt sheet: My Garden Creatures hunt 2

Your challenge today is find your own way to make a mini creature!

Can you make a worm or snake from an old sock! What will use to stuff it? Can you decorate it you may be allowed to sew on some buttons or  just draw!

Could you make your own snail? Will you draw spiral shell? Can you curl paper to make a snail ? Could you use a sock and box? You can think of your own way to make one!

How could you create a spider and his web?

Will you paint it? Will you cut out a body and add 8 long legs?

Have a look at this short video it might give you an idea!

Don’t forget to send me a photo of the mini creature you choose to make!
