Year 4 were set two paper challenges in their first weeks.
Their first challenge involved folding a piece of A4 paper into a circle. Many children used different methods to create their circles, their perseverance was amazing.
The following day the children were split into groups, given 3 sheets of A4 paper, two pairs of scissors and a glue stick and asked to make the longest paper chain they could. The classroom was filled with laughter and then fierce competition kicked in. The longest chain measured 6m 23cms!
