Monday 1st June Welcome back after a HOT half term holiday

Hello Everyone , WELL that was a HOT week.

I hope you all had a wonderful and safe time in the sunshine.

This week the Foundation Stage Unit will be open for children in F2. We have a busy week planned.

: We will be going to Forest School and playing on the swings

: We will also build a few more Forest School games.

: We have our poor garden plants to water and new seedlings to plant

: We have vegetables and flowers to plant

: In the afternoon we will be making coils to start our pot project …

: We will continue to explore spirals but with clay coils!

: You will all have a pot to take home at the end of the summer term.

: We have been very lucky to be given alot of ingredients from Asda for this weeks cooking activity we will be making chocolate chip cupcakes

: I wonder how many you will make?

If it continues to stay hot and sunny please can all of the F2 children coming back to school remember to bring a sunhat and suncream, so we all stay sun safe.

A sunhat is necessary Sun cream which your child can apply themselves.

F1’s and F2 children who are not in school today:- I know you will have been on lots of adventures so please do continue to send through your images. admin@haytorview.devon.sch.uk or upload the images and messages straight onto this site. I love looking through your photos and reading what your have been learning about, it helps me consider your current interests and allows me to make suggests that might be of interest.

I wonder if you have been having more water fun games at home… more swimming or water painting to cool down.. Have you managed to get to the beach and paddle in the sea? Today I a setting you all a water challenge……..

Continue to Enjoy painting with water.

Have you tried using a paint roller outside!

I will start phoning all of the F1 families on Tuesday 2nd June, when I am not in class. I really look forward to saying Hello to you all again.
