Hello All

We hope that you enjoyed the weekend? I managed 2 lovely walks with my dog one to Parke, near Bovey Tracey, and one to the back beach at Teignmouth at both venues Ollie dog enjoyed large sticks and a swim! The sun was a welcome sight yesterday and so we did some gardening! Mrs Coleman and Mrs Breakwell have been busy working with groups of children in our school garden and it is looking lovely. They have cleared away some brambles and thinned out the carrots. I am sure we will have more gardening challenges this week!

Joyful June Challenge for 15th June:

Rediscover a fun childhood activity that you can enjoy with your children today!

What will you choose?

Chat with your child about the games you played when you were young and choose one to play.

Did you have access to screen games or not??

This week are looking forward to your company again. We have more cooking activities and outdoor fun planned! As well as time for you to choose to build, draw, paint and be imaginative!

Last week we set you challenges around being physical and using your senses we focussed on smell and touch; so today we are going to set some challenges that require you to use the sense of sight! Look at the following photos to give you ideas of things you can do.

Of course you may like to play hide and seek, another fun game from my childhood. Or you might want to hide items and give clues when your family are near. When I was a child we would say “cool, cold” when you were along way from the object and “warm, hot , burning!” when you were close to the item. You have to use your eyes all the time!

Today’s story was one my son enjoyed when he was little. It is called “Little Bear Lost” by Jane Hissey. Jane has written lots of stories about Little Bear. I hope you enjoy this animated version!

We hope you have a fun Monday playing games from the past and exploring games that need you to do good looking
