Year 2 had a very well timed trip to Decoy park today to answer the question ‘What Trees grow in Decoy Park?’
As part of their science learning, Year 2 went to the park to collect samples of leaves from various points to bring back to school to group and classify. It was great that many parents were able to join us and be along side their child as they learned.
We dodged all of the rain and came back with several bin bags full of leaves, which caused shrieks of delight when they were emptied all over the classroom floor to be sorted, grouped and classified.
