Mr Hankin and Miss Shopland would like to nominate Jensen Eardley for an ambassador award. During a parent consultation with his parents and Miss Shopland, he was able to explain why he uses pictures and visual diagrams to show his understanding during maths sessions and Home Learning. He explained how synapses fire in our head, our brain grows and we link learning by brain crossing. He explained that the pictures help so that he can secure his understanding of a method before he can move on to the next step.
Michaela Wright’s mum and Michaela would like to nominate Corbyn Saunders for an ambassador award. Michaela was very nervous at the Christmas performance on Thursday night because there were a lot of people watching. Before saying her line, Corbyn wished her good luck. When she came off stage he gave her a ‘hi five’ to say well done.
