As part of our literacy learning today, we played a game that was not only really fun, but also helped us to practice writing different expanded noun phrases.
Initially, the children were skeptical about this game. I had questions like, “How can a literacy game be fun?”
Well, as it turns out, they can be very fun, very challenging and very competitive.
When I called time on the game, everybody wanted to carry on as they were HAVING FUN!
We are all really looking forward to all the other games that we will be playing in literacy (and other subjects) throughout the year.
