What an afternoon we have just had!
Julie, from the Birds of Prey center, came in and introduced us to Dink, Oracle and Mozart!
The children were absolutely mesmerized by the birds and were delighted to be able to see them up close and find out so much.
The questions the children asked were really considered, questions like. “How many eggs does it lay?” “What does it eat?” “Why is its tail so small?”
Today, the children have been capturing and sharing the notes they collected yesterday so that they have the information they need to write their own information text about their favourite bird.
I can’t wait to read them!
