Hello Folks
We hope you are all hunkered down, nice and safe and enjoying the time you are being given with those whom you love the most. These are uncertain times and it is tricky to know what to do for the best. All we can do is trust ourselves and our own judgments about what to do in the moment and then make our decisions with confidence, knowing that if we do get it wrong, its not the end of the world. It maybe that you choose to use some of those moments to support your child’s formal, curriculum based learning, it maybe you just choose to enjoy each other’s company doing wonderful, lovely things (this is still learning!!)
For those of you who would like to do things with a bit more structure, to give you some supportive ideas, here is the outline of the learning we will be exploring next week in school and what will be featured in the daily plans shared on Google Classrooms. weekly plan wb 11 January
It maybe that some of you have a look through this and that this inspires you to create some activities to do with your children. Please share them with us. We would love to see what you are doing together while you are at home, not because we are checking up, just because we care and want to keep in touch!
Others of you maybe using the timetable and the resources in a more structured way. If so, please let me know how they are going? Are they pitched right? Are they too hard or too simple? Also, please send me anything you want me to look over or comment on. I’d love to be able to share what you and your children are doing together.
Keep on keeping on folks. It wont be like this forever!
