This week, Mr Hankin introduced year 3 to Rekenrek. We have continued using this throughout the week and you may have also seen it making an appearance during T2T.
We are using Rekenrek to build our confidence and fluency of number sense. It is supporting us in understanding the relationships between numbers, or what numbers are composed of compared to other numbers. This will help us to become more successful in calculation.
