Year 2 spent a fantastic afternoon at the community Methodist Church with Rev Gill and her brilliant team of adult helpers.
We all learned a lot about the Christian story behind Christmas and it was lovely to hear the children sharing their thoughts and feelings about what Christmas means to them. To Zack it was “the story of a special baby” and for Leon “a time to be with my family.”
We all watched a really touching film that made us all smile and then worked 
together on a whole range of nativity based creations.
We would all like to say a huge THANK YOU to Rev. Gill and the other adults who made us feel so welcome and gave us their time to help us learn.
