Our learning was supported today by Monica, one of the professional artists who works with the Helen Foundation and DAISI to provide opportunities to schools to work alongside real-life artists. We knew a bit about Monica already from the information on her website but today we learnt loads of new skills from her! We practised using charcoal, discovered which colours we attach to specific emotions, designed our own story using emotions and finally we created some huge pieces of artwork just like real artists!
