The Yamaha Music School came into day and ran an assembly showing how easy it can be to learn and play music.
We put a keyboard out at breaktime and kept it out all day for any one who wanted to use it, either as part of year 1’s continuous provision, or as a ten minute time token treat for year 2.
Some of the melodies being created were really quite nice to listen to. I do hope we can find and develop the potential of any budding Beethovens or Bachs.
