Key Stage 2 Librarians Appointed Mrs Hodgson and Mrs Galling had the first meeting with the newly appointed Librarians. Jack, Anna, Casey, Sabina, Cody, McKenzie, Ayesha and Harvey-Jack were all keen to get ‘stuck in’ and tackle the growing pile of books which need organising in our school library. Over the forthcoming months the children will be working with Mrs Hodgson and Mrs Galling, to shape the development of the library. Badges have been ordered and once they arrive our new Librarians will be presented with their badges in assembly.
On 11th October, some of the year 6s travelled to Newton Abbot College for their annual netball festival! They took part in different activities set up by the Newton Abbot College students, all designed to build on their existing netball skills. Our Literacy Home Learning for this week is to correct the capital letters! We have been revising proper nouns in class, ensuring that people and places always get a capital letter!
