Good morning base 2,
I hope you are all keeping well.
You have Easter home learning that you need to be completing over the next couple of weeks.

• I would like you to also log on to the Discovery Education website, and go to Discovery Education > espresso > KS2 > English > Grammar and Punctuation > Text > Using the present perfect form instead of the simple past.

Passwords would have been given out to you last week.

We have already watched the video and started to practise this in our writing. I would like you to re-watch the video, work your way through both quizzes and complete the activity.

• I have updated your books on Bug Club. Over the next few days I will be allocating learning games for you to complete.

• Please make sure you take regular breaks.

• Starting today, every single day Monday to Friday, Joe Wicks is doing a live PE workout session for children. This is called “PE with Joe” and is going to be aired on his YouTube Channel ‘The Body Coach’, at 9am.

I have also included some activities suggested by the School Sports Partnership. There are lots of exercise you and your family can do at home, as well as different website for you to explore.

Keeping Kids and family active when at home

• Home skills – What new home skills have you learnt? Have you helped your family with the washing up, cooking, making your bed? This is a time to become more independent and start learning new skills around the home. I am sure your family would love the help. Make sure you let me know or even upload some photos.
