To celebrate and commemorate our species most fantastic achievement to date, Year 2 revisited their rocket science learning from January and used it to design and build their own rockets to take People back to the Moon (or at least the end of the field!).
We looked back in our creative books to remind ourselves what we found out about how much water gave the best results and then streamlined and adapted our bottles. Hands down winner was Olivia and Charlie, whose bottle flew perfectly straight almost to the end of the running track. I thought mine might do quite well, but it blew up on the launch pad taking everything with it!
